Dr. Persson joined TCG as a Managing Partner on January 1, 2010. He has thirteen years experience as a Partner of HealthCap, a leading European biotechnology VC group. He is also a former Associate Professor at the Karolinska Institute. Prior to HealthCap he worked as a Clinical Research Physician with Sanofi Winthrop. He received his medical education at the Karolinska Institute and at Harvard Medical School and is a licensed doctor. Dr. Persson has been a Board Director or a Board Observer of companies such as ChemoCentryx, FivePrime Therapeutics, Alba Therapeutics and PTC Therapeutics.
